4 - Setting Up Before first use: • Carefully unpack the 8 Mince Pie Maker. Remove all packaging materials. • Place the appliance on a flat, level surface. • Open the 8 Mince Pie Maker Lid. • Wipe the cooking plates with a damp cloth so that they are clean. Note: Use a small amount of cooking oil to season the cooking plates, and wipe off any excess with a dry cloth. 5 - Using Your Appliance Using the pastry cutters: 1. The pastry cutters are designed to create the perfect sized pastry for your 8 Mince Pie Maker. 2. 8 - Troubleshooting Questions Answers Can I use raw meat in the 8 Mince Pie Maker? No. All meat needs to be pre-cooked. The cooking time is not long enough for raw meat to be cooked. How can I remove my pies without them breaking? Allow the pie to cool slightly. Carefully use a non-metallic spatula to ease around the sides and bottom of the pie and then gently remove the pie. For extra help, add olive oil to the pie molds before cooking.
