3 USING YOUR APPLIANCE
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Read all instructions carefully and keep
them for future reference.
• Remove all packaging
• Clean the Cooking Plates by wiping a
sponge or cloth dampened in warm water.
• DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT AND DO
NOT RUN WATER DIRECTLY ONTO THE
COOKING SURFACES.
• Dry with a cloth or paper towel.
• For best results, lightly coat the cooking
plates with a little cooking oil or cooking
spray.
Note: When your Health Grill is heated for the
rst time, it may emit a slight smoke or odour.
This is normal with many heating appliances.
This does not affect the safety of your
appliance.
Temperature:
1. The Health Grill has a thermostatically
controlled temperature dial, which keeps
the grill heating at the exact temperature
you set.
2. The temperature dial can be turned from
min to max.
3. When the Health Grill is used as a closed
grill, the minimum temperature is 60°C,
and the max temperature is 190°C.
4. When used as an open grill, the minimum
temperature is 60°C, and the maximum
temperature is 170°C.
5. When the food is grilled, use the handle
to open the grill and raise the top cooking
plate. Remove food with the help of a heat
resistant spatula. Never use metal tongs or
a knife as these can cause damage to the
non-stick coating.
180 Button:
On the side of the Family Panini Grill there is a
180 button. This allows you to open the grill fully
so that it lays at on the worktop to be used as
an open grill.
Removable Plates:
To remove the cooking plates, press the
release buttons and
the lift the plates out.
Place the required
cooking plates into the
appliance by inserting
the locking tabs into
the plate locking
openings. Press on the
plates until you hear
a click.
Locking Mechanism:
Press the locking latch nearest the handle to
unlock the grill. Open the grill by pulling the
handle upwards.
