Reversinggrill/griddlePlateovertousethe
reverseside:
1. Turn the temperature control dial to ‘OFF’.
2. Unplug the appliance from wall outlet.
3. Allow unit to cool down completely. (at
least 30 minutes).
4. Remove the grill/griddle plate from the
unit.
5. Thoroughly clean grill/griddle plate. (See
Cleaning and Care).
6. Return the grill/griddle to the unit with the
desired surface facing up.
7. Reconnect the plug into a standard
electrical outlet.
Usingthekebabskewers:
1. Assemble the unit with the grill/griddle
plate and drip tray in proper position.
Slide skewer rack into place. Turn the
temperature control dial to maximum
setting “5”.
Note: the plate must be on the unit when using
the skewers. Please keep in mind that it is very
hot when the unit is operating.
2. Prepare your food according to your
favourite recipe and slide food onto
skewers.
3. Pull skewer rack half way towards you.
4. Place the skewers into the skewers slots
so that the star-like shape at the handle
ends of the skewers is inserted into the
gear slots in the front end of the skewer
rack.
5. Slide skewer rack back into place.
Note: When using large cubes of meat or sh,
you may only be able to cook up to ve kebabs
at a time. Do not use more than 100 grams of
food on each skewer.
6. Once all the skewers are in position, press
the control switch to ON. The switch light
will illuminated to indicate that the skewers
have begun rotating.
7. To check if your kebabs are cooked,
press the switch to stop skewers from
turning and remove a kebab. If more time
is needed, replace the skewer and press
the skewer motor control switch to resume
cooking.
Tips:
Lightly toast your hot dog buns on the grill for
two minutes before cooking has nished. Cut
the rolls in half and spread melted butter on
them, then place them on the grill.
Brush any oil you use directly onto the food, not
the pan.
The grill pan can be lined with parchment paper
to cook sh if desired.
Make sure the griddle is hot before placing any
food on it.
If you want to create the nice criss-cross effect
on your griddled food, turn the food 90 degrees
halfway through cooking on each side.
When grilling sh, use a large at spatula to turn
it over.
