7RECYCLING
DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT
Appliances bearing the symbol shown here may not be disposed of in domestic rubbish.
You are required to dispose of old electrical and electronic appliances like this separately.

The WEEE directive, introduced in August 2006, states that all electrical items must be recycled,
rather than taken to landll.
Please arrange to take this appliance to your local Civic Amenity site for recycling,
once it has reached the end of its life.
6CLEANING&CARE
• Once you have nished cooking, turn
the temperature control dial to the ‘OFF’
position and unplug the power cord from
the wall outlet. Allow the unit to cool down
for at least 30 minutes before handing.
Dispose of grease from the drip tray once
cooled.
• The grill/griddle plate and drip tray can be
washed by hand, using a soft sponge or
cloth and hot water. It may be submerged
in water as well.
• Do not use metal objects such as knives
or forks for cleaning the grill/griddle plate.
• Do not use a scouring pad for cleaning.
The non-stick surface can be damaged.
If you have been cooking seafood, wipe
the grill/griddle plate with lemon juice
to prevent the seafood avour from
transferring to the next recipe.
• The drip tray, skewers may be submerged
in water or washed in the dishwasher.
• The skewer rack, housing base, and
temperature control dial can be wiped
clean with a soft, dry cloth.
• For tough stains, dampen cloth.
• Never use abrasive cleaner or harsh pads
Note: Never immerse the power cord’s
thermostat plug in water; always use a damp
cloth.
• Never pour cold water onto the grill plate;
this will damage the grill plate, and the
water will boil and splash
IMPORTANT!
After cleaning allow to dry fully before using
again.
Do not use the appliance if damp. Ensure the
appliance is completely clean and dry before
storing.
Storage
To store your appliance:
Unplug power cord from the power outlet and
clean as above.
Allow the appliance to dry fully.
Store on a at, dry level surface out of reach
of children.
