TO CONFIRM THE SETTINGS
If the timer has been set
according to stage 6 on page
24, it is first necessary to release
the timer recording pressing
TIMER REC. Press VIDEO
Plus+/PROG. and the timer
programme list is displayed, the
second press shows the ON/OFF
TIMER setting screen and the
third press returns to normal
screen. The user must remember
to set the timer recording
pressing TIMER REC in order to
reset the timer.
If the timer has not been set, VIDEO Plus+/PROG. has to
be pressed twice to show the timer program list, the next
press shows the ON/OFF TIMER setting screen and the
fourth presses returns to normal picture.

TO CANCEL A PROGRAM
Press or to select the TIMER
REC SET option in the MENU,
then press ENTER.
Press
or to select the
unnecessary program, and press
CANCEL to cancel the program.
OTHER FUNCTIONS FOR TIMER RECORDING
NOTES:
• The everyday/every week recording can
be made continuously until the recording
is cancelled or the tape reaches the end.
• During timer recording, the automatic
rewinding mechanism does not function.
• You can correct or cancel the pro-
grammed setting in program confirm
mode.
• If you press an invalid button during timer
recording (such as PLAY, STOP, REC
etc), "RECORDING IN PROGRESS" will
appear on the TV screen for approx. 4
seconds.
TO SET DAILY/WEEKLY TIMER
When setting the date in the step 3 on page 24, press
repeatedly when the current day is displayed.
The setting changes as follows:

The current day (Friday) SUN-SAT (Sunday to Saturday)
MON-SAT (Monday to Saturday)
One month later
minus one day MON-FRI (Monday to Friday)
WKL-WED WKL-THU (Weekly Thursday)
(Weekly Wednesday)
IF THE PROGRAM OVERLAPS ANOTHER
Do not overlap programs as portions of the conflicting
programs will be lost. The first recording time has priority
over the next recording time as shown in the diagram.
