Press ADJUST (or _1/I_) to set "DBS" to "Not
used" or "Use".
Not used:
When a satellite set top box is not connected to the
INPUT3 jacks of the recorder.
Skip to step 8.
Use:
When a satellite set top box is connected to the INPUT3
jacks of the recorder.
Press v, then press ADJUST (or _1/1_) to set
"IR control" to "On" or "Off".
Off: Channels of the satellite set top box are selected
by its own selector.
Skip to step 8.
On: The recorder can change channels of the satellite
set top box.
Be sure to make the G-LINK TM connection
(_ page 25).
Press V, then press the number buttons to
enter the 3 digits of a brand code of your
satellite set top box obtained from the list
(@ page 43).
e.g. If you connect a TOSHIBA satellite set top box:

Gb_G3
(Z3
Press T, then press ADJUST (or < / I_) to set
"ENTER code" to "On" or "Off".
Confirm whether the connected satellite set top box
requires ENTER input after digits in channel selection or
not.
On: If ENTER input is required.
Off: If ENTER input is not required.
