Built-in Touch Pad A Touch Pad and control buttons in the palm rest
enable control of the on-screen pointer and
scrolling of windows.
External monitor Analog VGA port supports VESA DDC2B
compatible functions.
Universal Serial Bus
(USB 2.0)
The computer has Universal Serial Bus ports that
comply with the USB 2.0 standard, which
enables data transfer speeds 40 times faster
than the USB 1.1 standard (The ports also
support USB 1.1).
i.LINK™ (IEEE1394) This port enables high-speed data transfer
directly from external devices such as digital
video cameras.
PC card The PC card slot accommodates a 5 mm Type II
card.
ExpressCard The ExpressCard slot accommodates an
ExpressCard.

Bridge media This slot lets you insert SD card, Memory Stick
(Pro), xD picture card and MultiMediaCard
device. Refer to Chapter 9, Optional Devices.
Sound system Windows sound system compatible sound
system provides internal speakers and a
microphone as well as jacks for an external
microphone and headphones.
Monitor-in port This port can be used for displaying video from
your digital camcorder or video recorder on the
internal LCD.
It can also be used as a line-in port to enable the
connection of a stereo device for audio input.
