4.14 Touch pad
Removing the touch pad
The following describes the procedure for removing the touch pad (See Figure 4-31).
1. Peel off the glass tape and disconnect the touch pad flat cable from the connector on
the touch pad.
2. Remove the following screws securing the touch pad plate.
• M2.5×3.0B SUPER THIN HEAD screw x3
3. Turning up the insulator, remove the touch pad plate.
4. Remove the following screws securing the touch pad.
• M2.5×3.0B SUPER THIN HEAD screw x2
5. Peel off and remove the touch pad from the cover assembly.
