4 Replacement Procedures 4.10 Display assembly
Installing the display assembly
The following describes the procedure for installing the display assembly (See Figure 4-15 to
4-20).
1. Inserting the pole of hinge to the hole of base assembly, set the display assembly on
the base assembly.
2. Secure the hinges with the following screws.
• M2.5×8.0B FLAT BIND screw x2
(Locktight)
NOTE: Be sure to apply the locktight to the screws instructed in the figure above.
3. Connect the LCD harness to the connector CN5600 on the system board.
4. Install the LCD harness holder and secure it with the following screw.
• M2.5×2.8B FLAT BIND screw x1
5. Install the both sides of hinge caps.
6. Secure the display mask with the following screws and stick the mask seal on them.
• M2.5×6.0B FLAT BIND screw x2
7. Arrange the wireless antenna cables along the guide (front) and secure them with
insulators.
8. Pass the cables to the back of computer through the slot.
9. Turn over the computer and arrange the bluetooth antenna cable along the guide.
10. Connect the bluetooth antenna cable to the connector on the bluetooth.
11. Arrange the wireless LAN antenna cables along the guide and stick the insulator.
12. Secure the display assembly from the back of computer with the following screws.
• M2.5×8.0B FLAT BIND screw x2
