While a videotape is playing, yon can enjoy a variety of spe-

cial playback features, including Still, Frame Advance, Skip,

Slow motion, and mort'. Pn'ss the Play button again to

resume normal playback.

Pause

I22Play mode prea_; IbII(PLAY/PAUSE) to still a sin-

gle frame.

Frame Advance

In the pause mode. preas EADV/SKIP to

advance to the next frame.

Tile DVD Recorder-VCR allows you to playback higtl quali-

ty S-VHS tapes.

Insert a S-VHS Tape

Insert an S-VHS tape into the (.R deck.

2 Start Playback

Press D"ll(PIAY/PAUSE) on the remote control to

begin playback of the S-VHS tape.

Fps/Review

Ill Play mode, prea'; Forward (l_lb-) or

Rewind (.,_1) to Cue!review at two speeds:

• Pictulv Search -- Press and release to advance the

tape forward or bacgoa'ant at 5 times normal

speed.

• Jet Search -- Press and hold to advance tile tape

forward or backward at 7 times normal speed.

Skip

I l Pav node prea_; EADV_KIP to cue aleac exac y

30 seconds. Prea_; EADV/bKIP repeatedly up to 4

times to cue ahead 2 minutes.

Slow motion

Ill pause mode, prcs_; _ button for slow motion.

Press the press _1_ button repeatedly to vaU slow

motion speed trom 1/5 to 1/30 of normal playback.

Press the PLaY button twice to n'sume normal

viewing.
