Music and Your gigabeat®
Preparing music data
If you are using Windows Media
®
Player 10, refer to the
Windows Media
®
Player 10 Help file.
Licensed (DRM-protected) WMA files may not be transferred
to the gigabeat
®
depending on the terms of the applicable
license. (The same applies when Windows Media
®
Player 10
is used.)
Depending on their format, some WMA files may be converted
to a gigabeat
®
-supporting format when the files are transferred
to the gigabeat. (The same applies when Windows Media
®
Player 10 is used.)
Large files which exceed 2 GB in size or recording time
exceeds 9 hours 6 minutes cannot be played properly on the
gigabeat
®
. (The same applies when Windows Media
®
Player
10 is used.)
To change the method of synchronization between your
computer and the gigabeat
®
, click below the
Synchronization tab in Windows Media
®
Player 11, select
gigabeat T, select Synchronization Settings, and set
desired items.
Always use Windows Media
®
Player 11 or 10 when
transferring data to the gigabeat
®
. Never use any other method
of transfer.
