Accessing a destination device
Connection by Bluetooth
The Product waits for Bluetooth connection immediately after it has been powered up. In this status, Bluetooth
is started automatically when a destination device requests connection, with data transmitted by the FTP (File
Transfer Profile). The Product is recognized by the other devices equipped with Bluetooth as external storage.

Devices proven to operate by Bluetooth connection
The devices proven to be connected to the Product are presented in the web site below. Toshiba Corporation
does not, however, guarantee the connection of the Product to those devices.

For details on a method for data transmission, see the instruction manual for the destination device
to be connected via Bluetooth.
•
The Product can communicate with a device located within about 10 meters from it.
•
The Product may not communicate with a destination device located within about 30 cm from it. In
such a case, install the destination device 30 or more cm from the Product.
•
Data communication distance and speed for Bluetooth vary with obstacles, distance, radio wave
conditions, destination device conditions, and other environmental conditions.
