4) Select whether to authenticate Bluetooth.
Before starting connection to a destination device, specify whether to need a passkey.
Do not authenticate: You do not need any passkeys for connection from a destination device.
Do authenticate: You need a passkey for connection from a destination device.
5) Select Bluetooth detection mode.
Specify whether to respond to a detection request from another device with the Product's Bluetooth
device name.
Detection enable mode: The Product responds to a search request from another device.
Detection disable mode: The Product does not respond to a search request from another device.
6) Click the OK button. If the confirmation message appears, click the OK button. Settings will be
updated.
Note
•
Even though you have set "Do Not Authenticate" for Bluetooth authentication, you need a passkey
for connection if "Do Authenticate" is set for the destination device.

Displaying device information
Select the
button in the main screen, then click the Device Information tab.

Initialization
Initialization returns Bluetooth settings to default ones.
1) Choose the
button in the main screen.
The initialization confirmation screen appears.
Device information appears.
