In the following, please ﬁnd a selection of the most important instructions for operation

of Power 26-104 battery. Beside these, please also observe complete operating manual to

prevent any damage to the battery.

• Onlyuseequipmentthatdoesnotdrawmorethan180ampsfromonebattery(at

nominal voltage corresponding to 4,660 watts). In case of batteries connected in parallel

you may draw 180 amps from each connected battery (in case of 2 batteries connected

in parallel, this corresponds to a withdrawal of 360 amps or 9,320 watts). Higher con-

sumption will trigger the electronic fuse. After elimination of overload, battery may be

switched on again.

• Insurecorrectpolaritywhenconnectingequipmentandchargers.

• Youwillextendbattery‘sservicelifeifyoudoneitherexposeitdirectlytothesunnorto

high ambient temperatures longer than necessary. When stored for a longer period of

time, battery should have a residual charge of 20-40 %. Regularly check voltage so that

it is always higher than 21 V in order to prevent total discharge. Drawing on page 52 will

help you to precisely deﬁne your checking intervals.

• Idealbatterystoragetemperatureisbetween5°and15°C/41°Fand59°F.
