8.2 Warranty process
Adhering to the following warranty process is a prerequisite to the satisfaction of any
warranty claims.
Before dispatching any apparently faulty goods, it is imperative to coordinate the delivery
withTorqeedoServices,TorqeedoServicewillissueanRMA-Number.Youcancontactus
by phone, email or mail. The ability to make contact via the www.torqeedo.com website
is being extended successively. You can find the contact details on the back of this ma-
nual. Pleaseunderstandthatweareunabletodealwithproductsofwhichwehavenot
been notified and will therefore refuse to accept delivery.
When shipping products to us for repair or under warranty, please pay attention to the
following requirements:
•PleasenotetheRMANumberwellvisibleontheoutsideofthetransportpackaging.
•Pleaseprovideacompletedwarrantycerticatewith your shipment. The warranty
cer¬tificate form is located on page 30 of this manual, it will be also available as a
download from our website. The completed certificate must provide contact details,
product de-tails, serial number, and a brief description of the problem.
•Pleaseprovideaproofofpurchase. The proof of purchase must indicate also the date
of purchase (e.g. transaction receipt).
To check a warranty claim and to process a warranty, we require your assistance:
For returning the motor to the Service Center, we recommend keeping the original Tor-
qeedo packaging. If this is no longer available packaging that excludes transport damage
must be used as this is not included in the warranty.
