• Ifthetiltleverissettotilt/auto-kick-upreversingandstoppingarenot
possible. Set the tilt lever to the „Lock“ position if it may be necessary
to stop or reverse.
• Whentiltingthemotor,pleaseensurethatitispositionedsecurely.
• Bewarenottosquashhandsorngerswhentiltingthemotor.
• Intiltedposition,themotorcanturninsuchawaythatthepositions
of the tiller and battery change.
The auto-kick-up setting protects the motor in case of ground contact.
It does not guarantee that ground contact will not damage the propel-
ler or even the motor. This applies in particular if the ground is stone
or rock.

5.4.1 Battery safety instructions
•Neverusebatteriesthatarenotintendedordesignedforusewiththeunit.
•Pleasekeepyouroriginaloperatinginstructions.Refertotheseinstructionswhenitis
time to replace your Torqeedo battery.
•Differentmakesofcellorcellsofdifferentcapacity,sizeanddesignmaynotbeused
together within one unit.
•Wheneverpossible,batteriesshouldberemovedfromtheunitswhentheyarenotinuse.
•Storeyourbatteryinitsoriginalpackagingwhennotinuseorcharging.Pleasecleanthe
contacts on the battery and the unit before installing the battery.
•Batteriesmustnotbesubjectedtorepeatedimpactsormechanicalshocks.
•Pleasestorebatteriesoutofthereachofchildren.
