TOPDRESSER ADAPTER KIT

INSTALLATION

INSTRUCTIONS

For WORKMAN Vehicles

Note: To operate Topdresser, Workman vehicle must

be equipped with the Remote Hydraulics Kit, Model

No. 07415.

1. Loosen idler sprocket to relieve chain tension and

remove chain from gear box. Retain chain for

re-assembly.

2. Remove fasteners securing gear box to mounting

bracket on right side of topdresser frame. Remove

gear box.

3. Disconnect and remove idler sprocket from side of

topdresser frame. Retain sprocket for re-assembly.

4. Disconnect and remove all clutch linkage secured

to mounting bracket on bottom of topdresser frame.

5. Cut off gear box mounting bracket, welded to tube,

on right side of topdresser assembly (Fig. 1). Do not cut

tube.

6. Cut off topdresser mounting brackets, welded to

tube on bottom of topdresser assembly (Fig. 1). Do not

cut tube.

7. Using dimensions shown in figure 2, locate, mark

and drill (6) .344" dia. holes, (2) .281" dia. holes and a

.438" dia. hole in right side of topdresser frame.

Loosely mount tensioner assembly to side of topdresser with a M10 x 30 MM lg. capscrew and lockwasher. 9.

R-clamp fastener (Fig. 3). Short piece of trim to be positioned between hose and edge of shield. 22. Secure top flange of shield to side of topdresser with (2) 1/4-20 x 1/2" lg. capscrews and locknuts (Fig. 3). 9 23. Secure inside mounting tab of shield to existing hole in side of topdresser with a 1/4-20 x 1/2" lg. capscrew, (2) flatwashers and a locknut (Fig. 3).
