CleaningtheAirFilter
1.Inspecttheairlterfortears,andoilylm,ordamage
totherubberseal.
2.Toloosenthedebris,gentlytapthelteronahard
surface.Ifthelterisexcessivelydirty,replaceitwith
anewlter.
Important:Nevercleanthepaperelementwith
pressurizedairorliquidssuchassolvents,gasoline,or
kerosene.Replacetheairlterifitisdamagedorcannot
becleanedthoroughly.
InstallingtheAirFilter
1.Installtheairlterintotheenginebaseandpushdown
untiltheltersnapsinplace.
2.Installtheairltercoverandknobs(Figure22).
3.Closethehood.

7.Cleanaroundthedipstick(Figure25)sothatdirt
cannotfallintothellerholeanddamagetheengine.
