Operatingthemachinewiththeplatformupisrecommended

forthefollowing:

•Mowingneardrop-offs

•Mowingsmallareaswherethemachineistoolarge

•Areaswithlow,over-hangingbranchesorobstacles

•Loadingthemachinefortransport

•Drivingupslopes

Toraisetheplatform,pullthebackoftheplatformupsothat

thelatchpinandknoblockitintoplace.Pushittightagainst

thecushionforthelatchpintolockitintoplace.

Operatingthemachinewiththeplatformdownis

recommendedforthefollowing:

•Mowingmostareas

•Drivingacrossslopes

•Drivingdownslopes

Tolowertheplatform,pushtheplatformforwardagainstthe

cushiontoreleasepressureonthelatchpin,thenpullthe

knobout,andlowertheplatform(Figure20).
