Tool Inspection Process

Perform the necessary maintenance procedures as specified in the following table (for complete procedures, refer to the Operator’s Manual):

Maintenance Service Interval Maintenance Procedure

After the first 20 hours • Change the reduction-case oil.

After the first 25 hours • Change the engine oil.

• Inspect the belts and adjust as necessary.

Before each use or daily • Inspect the air-cleaner elements.

• Check the engine-oil level.

• Inspect the tires.

• Check the reduction-case oil.

After each use • Clean the drum between mixing batches of material.

• Lubricate the trunnions.

• Torque the wheel lug nuts to 108 to 122 N∙m (80 to 90 ft-lb) after towing.

Clean them more frequently in dusty operating conditions. Every 50 hours Every 100 hours • Change the engine oil. • Check the spark plug. • Clean the spark arrester (if equipped). • Clean the fuel-sediment cup. • Change the reduction-case oil. Every 300 hours • Replace the paper air-cleaner element.
