screwsremovedpreviously(Figure42)and
torquethemto1.5to1.7N∙m(13to15in-lb).
8.Installthehandheldremoteintothemagnetic
remotebracket,slidethehalvestogetherto
securethehandheldremote,andtightenthe
boltinthemagnet(Figure41).

RemotewiththeBase
Thefactoryinitiallyassociatesthehandheldremote
tothebaseallowingthemtocommunicate;however,
theremaybeinstancesintheeldwhenyoumust
associatearemoteandabaseunitagain.
1.PresstheE-Stopbuttontoremovepowerfrom
thebaseunitandensurethatthehandheld
remoteisoff.
2.Standnearthebaseunitinclearlineofsight.
3.Simultaneouslypressandcontinuetoholdthe
ON/OFFandtheALLSTOPbuttons.

Thehandheldremotegoesthroughits
initializationscreensandsettlesonASSOC
PENDING.
4.Continuetoholdbothbuttonsandthen
quicklyreleasethemwhenASSOCACTIVEis
displayed(approximately4seconds).
ThedisplayshowsPRESSSTORE.
5.PressandholdtheSTOREbutton.
TheremotedisplaysPOWUPBASE.
6.WhilecontinuingtoholdtheSTOREbutton,pull
outontheE-STOPbuttontopowerupthebase
unit.
Thehandheldremoteassociates(links)withthe
baseunit.Uponsuccess,thedisplayshows
ASSOCPASS.
7.ReleasetheSTOREbutton.
Important:IfthedisplayshowsASSOCEXIT,the
