WARNING
Batteryterminalsormetaltoolscouldshort
againstmetalmachinecomponents,causing
sparks.Sparkscancausethebatterygasses
toexplode,resultinginpersonalinjury.
•Whenremovingorinstallingthebattery,
donotallowthebatteryterminalstotouch
anymetalpartsofthetractor.
•Donotallowmetaltoolstoshortbetween
thebatteryterminalsandmetalpartsofthe
machine.
WARNING
Incorrectbatterycableroutingcoulddamage
themachineandcables,causingsparks.
Sparkscancausethebatterygassesto
explode,resultinginpersonalinjury.
•Alwaysdisconnectthenegative(black)
batterycablebeforedisconnectingthe
positive(red)cable.
•Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)battery
cablebeforeconnectingthenegative
(black)cable.
1.Iftheoptionalrinsetankisinstalled,emptythe
tankintothespraytank;refertoOperatingthe
RinseKitintheInstallationInstructionforthe
TankRinseKit.
2.Ensurethatthesprayertankofthemachineis
emptyofalluids.
Note:Ifthesprayertankhascontained
chemicalsolutions,ushthetankandsprayer
systemthoroughlywithcleanwater;refertoyour
vehicleOperator'sManualforinstructions.
3.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,setthe
parkingbrake,shutoffthesprayerpump,shut
offtheengine,andremovethekeyfromthekey
switch.
4.Disconnectthenegativebatterycablefrom
thenegativepostofthebattery;refertothe
Operator’sManual.
5.Disconnectthepositivebatterycablefrom
thepositivepostofthebattery;refertothe
Operator’sManual.

1.Atthetopofthespraytank,removetheretainer
forkthatsecuresthe90°barbedttingofthe
suctionhosetothehousingforthesuction
screen,andseparatethebarbedttingfromthe
housing(Figure2).
