These procedures will help to maintain the efficient performance this machine was designed to deliver. VEHICLE DRIVE CONTROL FOOT PEDAL: Controls the direction and ground speed of the MULTI-PRO 5200. Applying pressure with the toe on the top of the pedal, away from the operator, will move the vehicle forward (SEE FiG. 1}).
CONTROLS BRAKE LOCK: Locks the Brake Pedal in a depressed position for starting the engine or to act as a Parking Brake. Depress the Brake Pedal and lift the Knob to lock. Depress the Brake Pedal again and the Brake Lock Is disengaged to release the Brake Pedal. HOUR METER: Records the number of hours that the engine has been.operated. To be used as an aid in scheduling equipment maintenance. VOLTMETER: Indicates the battery voltage when the ignition key is in the ON position.

MAINTENANCE DIFFERENTIAL The Differential has a capacity of 6 U.S. pints {2.81 1). Check the oil level after first 50 hours of operation and every 100 hours thereafter. To check the oil level remove the pipe plug from the rear of the Differential housing. If oil does not run out, replenish with a high quality SAE 85-140 gear oil of temperatures oboe 32°F. Add oil until it begins to drip from hole where plug wos removed.

As the brake pads begin to wear and affect the Brake Pedal "travel’, adjustments can be made before it becomes necessary to replace the brake pads. Adjust first, by frightening the jam nuts at the Compression Spring. Further adjustment can be made at the brake cable bracket, if necessary. See FIG. 13. Periodically inspect brake pads for wear and replace as necessary.
