CheckingtheAirIntakeScreen
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Cleanthe
enginerotatingscreen.
Every100hours—Cleantheengine
rotatingscreen(moreoftenindusty,
dirtyconditions).
Checkandcleanasnecessarytheairintakescreenonthe
frontoftheengineevery8operatinghours.
ServicingtheAirCleaner
FoamElement:Cleanandoilafterevery25operating
hours,oryearly,whicheveroccursrst.
PaperElement:Replaceafterevery100operating
hoursoryearly,whicheveroccursrst.
Note:Servicetheaircleanermorefrequently(every
fewhours)ifoperatingconditionsareextremelydusty
orsandy.

1.Settheparkingbrake,stopthepump,stopthe
engine,andremovetheignitionkey.
2.Releasethelatchonthebackoftheseatandliftthe
seatforward.
3.Cleanaroundtheaircleanertopreventdirt
fromgettingintotheengineandcausingdamage
(Figure45).
