FillingtheFuelTank
Gasolineisextremelyammableandexplosive.
Areorexplosionfromgasolinecanburnyou
andothers.
•Topreventastaticchargefromigniting
thegasoline,placethecontainerand/or
snowthroweronthegroundbeforelling,
notinavehicleoronanobject.
•Fillthetankoutdoorswhentheengineis
cold.Wipeupspills.
•Donothandlegasolinewhensmokingor
aroundanopenameorsparks.
•Storegasolineinanapprovedfuelcontainer,
outofthereachofchildren.
Fillthefueltankwithfreshunleadedregulargasoline
fromamajorname-brandservicestation(Figure24).
Important:Toreducestartingproblems,add
fuelstabilizertothefuelallseason,mixingitwith
gasolinelessthan30daysold.
Do not add oil to
the gasoline.
