•Lubricatethesnowthrower.

Ifyouleavethewireonthesparkplug,someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineandseriouslyinjure
youorbystanders.
Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplugbeforeyoudoanymaintenance.Setthewireasidesothat
itdoesnotaccidentallycontactthesparkplug.
PreparingforMaintenance
1.Movethesnowthrowertoalevelsurface.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
3.Disconnectthesparkplugwire(Figure18).
CheckingtheEngineOilLevel
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Eachtimebeforeusingthesnowthrower,rstensure
thattheoillevelisbetweentheAddandtheFullmarks
onthedipstick.
1.Cleanaroundthedipstick(Figure18).
2.Removethedipstickbyrotatingthecap
counterclockwiseandpullingitout.
3.Wipethedipstickcleanwithacleancloth.
4.Installthedipstickintothellerneck,thenremoveit.
Note:Toensureanaccurateoillevelreading,you
mustfullyinstallthedipstick.
