Installing the Discharge Chute

Addendum

Perform

this procedure after installing the auger/impeller

drive control linkage.

Rotate the loose chute retainer on the bottom of the

chute outward (Fig. 1).

grease the chute ring (Fig. 1).

Lower the chute over the opening on the top of the

auger housing (Fig. 1).

Ensure that the chute ring fits into the grooves in the

fixed chute retainers (Fig. 1).

Rotate the loose chute retainer inward onto the chute

ring and secure it with a No. 10–4 x 5/8 inch (1.5

cm) screw (Fig. 2).
