WARNING
Swallowingorinhalingchemicalscouldcause
seriousinjuryordeath.
•Donotcleansprayernozzlesusingyour
mouthorblowingthroughthenozzles.
•Replaceallwornanddamagedsprayer
nozzles.
•Ensurethatthenozzlesareinstalled
correctly.
Important:Donotusebrackishorreclaimed
watertocleanthemachine.
PreparingtheMachine
1.Emptythesprayertank.
2.Fillthesprayertankwith19L(5USgallons)or
moreofcleanwaterandinstallthecap;referto
FillingtheTank(page38).
3.Engagetheparkingbrake,movethe
motion-controlleverstotheNEUTRALposition,
andstarttheengine.
4.SettheenginethrottletoFASTposition.
CleaningtheSprayerSystemand
Wand
Important:Alwaysemptyandcleanthesprayer
immediatelyaftereachuse.Failuretodoso
maycausethechemicalstodryorthickeninthe
hoses,cloggingthepumpandothercomponents.
1.Adjustthesprayer-pressurewiththethrottle
valve;refertoAdjustingtheSprayerPressure
(page36).
2.Settheleft,center,andrightboom
sprayer-controlvalvestotheONposition.
3.Onthecontrolconsole,pressthespray-pump
switchtoturnonthespraypump;referto
Spray-PumpSwitch(page16).
4.Allowtherinsewaterinthetanktospraythrough
thenozzles.
5.Checkthatallnozzlesspraycorrectly.
6.Removethesprayerwandfromtheholder,point
thewandinasafedirection,andsqueezethe
trigger;refertoSprayingwiththeSprayWand
(page39).
Note:Allowtherinsewatertodischargefrom
thewandfor1to2minutes.
7.Releasethetriggerforthewandandreturnitto
thetoolcliponthemachine;refertoSpraying
withtheSprayWand(page39).
8.Movetheboomsprayer-controlvalvestothe
OFFposition,setthesprayer-pumpswitchtothe
OFFposition,andshutofftheengine.
9.Cleanthestrainer;refertoCleaningtheStrainer
(page43).
10.Repeatsteps2through9usingcleanersand
neutralizersrecommendedbythechemical
manufacturers;refertoFillingtheTank(page
38).
