1.Propertensionallows10mm(3/8inch)
deectionwhenaforceof4.5kg(10lb)is
appliedonthebeltmidwaybetweenthepulleys.
2.Ifthedeectionisnot10mm(3/8inch),loosen
thealternatormountingbolts(Figure73).
Increaseordecreasethealternatorbelttension
andtightenthebolts.Checkthedeectionofthe
beltagaintoensurethatthetensioniscorrect.

highqualityhydraulicuid.Checkthelevelofthe
hydraulicuidbeforetheengineisrststartedand
dailythereafter.Therecommendedreplacementuid
isasfollows:
