11. Connect the air ride wire harness to the traction unit
(Fig. 5) as follows:
Plug the air ride harness connector into the air ride
seat suspension wire connector.
Note: When routing the harness, do not pull it across
sharp edges which may damage the wires.
Plug the seat switch connector into the seat switch
connector on the traction unit console wiring
harness.
Insert the other end of the air ride harness thru the
opening in the seat plate and route it to the fuse
block.
Secure the ground wire ring terminal, from the
harness, to the grounding bolt (Fig. 3 & 5). Use the
star washer included when making the connection
Plug the air ride harness spade terminal into the
innermost spade terminal of the fuse block (Fig. 5).
Insert a 10 amp. fuse into the corresponding fuse
slot.
Note: If an accessory wiring kit has been previously
installed, insert the spade terminal and fuse into the
outermost spade terminal and affix the the included decal
to the corresponding location.
Note: Make sure the fuse is installed in the corresponding
slot that has the wire connected to the harness. The
remaining fuse block wires are not used at this time.
12. Affix the fuse decal to the corresponding location on
the fuse block decal (Fig. 3). Make sure the decal
surface is clean an dry before affixing the new decal.
13. Re–install the control panel cover.
14. Connect the negative battery cable to the battery.
Important Secure the wire harness with wire ties.
Make sure wires do not contact any hot or moving parts.
15. Slide the seat completely forward and backward to
ensure proper operation and that the seat wires and
connectors are not pinched or do no contact any
moving parts.
Note: If a Premium Seat, Model 30622 is to be installed,
the manual tube must be mounted to the back of the seat,
using the R–clamps and 1/4 in. thread forming screws.
Operation
Weight Adjusting Lever–Adjust for operator
weight (Fig. 4)
Weight gauge–Indicates when the seat is adjusted
to the weight of the operator (Fig. 4). Proper
adjustment is attained when the gauge is in the
green region. Height adjustment is made by
positioning the suspension toward the lower or
upper range of the green region.
