12.OnGroundsmaster4010−Dmachines:
A.Removeairconditioningcompressorfromcompressormount(seeAir
ConditioningCompressor(page10–5)).Positioncompressorawayfrom
enginetakingcaretonotdamagecompressororAChoses.Support
compressortomakesureitwillnotfallduringengineremoval.
B.Disconnectcoolanthosesfromttingsonenginewaterange.On
Groundsmaster4010−DmachineswithaTier4compliantengine(model
30607and30636),disconnectcoolanthosefromttingonlowerradiator
hoseassembly.Labelcoolanthosesforproperassembly.
IMPORTANT
Thehydraulicpumpassemblycanremaininmachineduringengine
removal.Topreventpumpfromshiftingorfalling,makesureto
supportpumpassemblybeforethefastenersthatsecurepump
assemblytoengineareremoved.
13.Supporthydraulicpumpassembly.Removefastenersthatsecurepump
assemblytoengine(seeGearPump(page5–97)).
14.Notelocationofallcabletiessecuringthewireharness,fuellinesand
hydraulichosestotheengineforassemblypurposes.Removecabletiesas
neededforengineremoval.
15.Connectliftorhoisttotheliftbracketsonengine.
16.Removeangenuts,reboundwashersandcapscrewsthatsecurethe
enginemountbracketstotheenginemounts.
