YanmarTNVSeries,turbocharged,dieselenginethatcomplieswithEPATier4
nalemissionregulations.TheT4enginefeaturesincludeanelectroniccontrol
unit(ECU)thatcontrolsacommonrailfuelinjectionsystemwithdirectinjection,
water−cooledexhaustgasrecirculation(EGR),anelectronicgovernor,an
exhaustsystemdieseloxidationcatalyst(DOC)andanexhaustdieselparticulate
lter(DPF)withactiveregeneration.Glowplugsareusedtoassiststartingthe
engine.NumerousenginesensorsareusedtoallowtheengineECUtomonitor
andcontrolengineoperationforoptimumengineperformance.
Duringtheoperationoftheengine,ifconditionswarrant,theengineECUmay
generateanenginefault.UsethemachineInfoCentertoidentifytheengine
fault;refertotheYanmarTroubleshootingManual,orcontactanAuthorized
