FuseTesting
TurnignitionswitchtotheRUNposition(donotstartengine).Withthefuse
installedinthefuseblock,useamultimetertoverifythat12VDCexistsatboth
oftheterminaltestpointsonthefuse.If12VDCexistsatoneofthefusetest
pointsbutnotattheother,thefuseisfaulty.
Ifnecessary,removethefusefromthefuseblockfortesting.Thefuseshould
havecontinuitybetweenthefuseterminals.
1.EnsurethatthekeyswitchisinOFFpositionandthekeyisremovedfrom
thekeyswitch.
2.Removethefuse(s)fromthefuseholderfortesting.Thefuseshouldhave
continuitybetweenthefuseterminals.
IMPORTANT
Iffusereplacementisnecessary,ensurethatreplacementfusehas
thecorrectAmprating.
3.Replacethefuseiftestingdeterminesthatitisdamaged.
