1.Parkmachineonalevelsurfacewithfrontcuttingdeckraisedandside
cuttingdeckslowered.Stopengine,engageparkingbrakeandremovekey
fromtheignitionswitch.
2.Thereshouldbefrom1.8to3.3mm(0.070to0.130in)clearancebetween
thetargetsurfaceendofpositionswitchandthesensingplateonliftarm.
3.Ifnecessary,loosenjamnutsonswitchandadjustswitchlocationtoallow
properclearancebetweenswitchandsensingplate.
4.Afteradjustment,torquejamnutsfrom18.7to22.0N·m(165to195in−lb).
Checkthatproperclearancebetweenswitchandsensingplatestillexists
aftertighteningjamnuts.
Note:ThecuttingdeckpositionswitchesincludeaLEDonthecableend
oftheswitchbody.TheswitchLEDshouldbeilluminatedwhenthecutting
decksarefullylowered.
