Install Signal Controller and
Relay
1. Remove front of steering tower.
2. Remove (4) screws securing cover to top of steering
tower.
3. On machines with serial numbers greater than
230000001, proceed to step 4. On machines with serial
numbers prior to 22999999, proceed to step 8.
4. Using dimensions shown in figure 10. locate, mark and
drill (2) .38” dia. holes in left side of steering tower.

5. Insert signal controller cables through opening in
steering tower cover. Install cover to steering tower
with (4) screws previously removed.
6. Mount signal controller to mounting bracket with (2)
filister head screws and washers, positioning as shown
in figure 11

7. Secure mounting bracket to steering tower with (2)
screws and nuts (Fig. 11). Proceed to step 10.
8. Insert signal controller cables through opening in
steering tower cover. Install cover to steering tower
with (4) screws previously removed.
9. Position signal controller on left side of steering
column. Install clamp on right side and tighten, securing
controller to column (Fig. 12).
10. Bundle the excess cables together and secure it to a
power steering hose with cable ties.
