DisposingoftheEngineOil
Engineoilandhydraulicuidarebothpollutantsto
theenvironment.Disposeofusedoilatacertied
recyclingcenteroraccordingtoyourstateandlocal
regulations.
DisposingoftheBattery
DANGER
Batteryelectrolytecontainssulfuricacid,
whichispoisonousandcancausesevere
burns.Swallowingelectrolytecanbefatalor
cancausesevereburnsifittouchesskin.
•Wearsafetyglassestoshieldeyes,and
rubberglovestoprotectskinandclothing
whenhandlingelectrolyte.
•Donotswallowelectrolyte.
•Intheeventofanaccident,ushwithwater
andcalladoctorimmediately.
Federallawstatesthatbatteriesshouldnotbeplaced
inthegarbage.Managementanddisposalpractices
forbatteriesmustfollowrelevantfederal,state,or
locallaws.
Ifyouarereplacingthebatteryoryourmachineisno
longeroperatedanditisbeingscrapped—removethe
battery;takethebatterytoalocalcertiedrecycling
center.Ifnolocalrecyclingisavailablereturnthe
batterytoanycertiedbatteryreseller.

1.Raisethetines,stopthemachine,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove
thekey.
2.Removedirtandgrimefromtheentiremachine.
Important:Youcanwashthemachine
withmilddetergentandwater.Donot
pressure-washthemachine.Avoid
excessiveuseofwater,especiallynearthe
engineandhydrostaticdrive.
3.Servicetheaircleaner;refertoServicingtheAir
Cleaner(page36).
4.Lubricatethemachine;refertoLubrication
(page33).
5.Changetheengineoil;refertoChangingthe
EngineOil(page38).
6.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.
Repairorreplaceanypartthatisdamaged.
7.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaces.Paint
isavailablefromyourAuthorizedServiceDealer.
8.Storethemachineinaclean,drygarageor
storagearea.
9.Coverthemachinetoprotectitandkeepitclean.
