Transporting
TransportingaUnit
Useaheavy-dutytrailerortrucktotransportthemachine.
Lockbrakeandblockwheels.Securelyfastenthemachineto
thetrailerortruckwithstraps,chains,cable,orropes.Be
surethatthetrailerortruckhasallnecessarylightingand
markingasrequiredbylaw.Secureatrailerwithasafety
chain.Refertoyourlocalordinancesforspecictrailerand
tie-downregulations.
CAUTION
Thisunitdoesnothaveproperturnsignals,lights,
reectivemarkings,oraslowmovingvehicle
emblem.Drivingonastreetorroadwaywithout
suchequipmentisdangerousandcanleadto
accidentscausingpersonalinjury.Drivingona
streetorroadwaywithoutsuchequipmentmayalso
beaviolationofStatelawsandtheoperatormaybe
subjecttotrafcticketsand/ornes.
Donotdriveaunitonapublicstreetorroadway.

Loadingaunitonatrailerortruckincreasesthe
possibilityofbackwardtip-over.Backwardtip-over
couldcauseseriousinjuryordeath.

rampstocreateanunbrokenrampsurfacewider

groundorbetweenrampandtrailerortruck.
•Avoidsuddenaccelerationwhiledrivingunitup
aramptoavoidtippingbackward.
•Avoidsuddendecelerationwhilebackingunit

LoadingaUnit
Useextremecautionwhenloadingunitsontrailersortrucks.
Onefullwidthrampthatiswideenoughtoextendbeyond
thereartiresisrecommendedinsteadofindividualramps
foreachsideoftheunit.Ifitisnotpossibletouseonefull
widthramp,useenoughindividualrampstosimulateafull
widthcontinuousramp.
Rampshouldbelongenoughsothattheanglesbetweenthe
rampandthegroundandtherampandthetrailerortruck
donotexceed15degrees.Steeperanglesmayalsocausethe
unittotipbackward.Ifloadingonornearaslope,position
thetrailerortrucksoitisonthedownsideoftheslopeand
therampextendsuptheslope.Thiswillminimizetheramp
angle.Thetrailerortruckshouldbeaslevelaspossible.
Important:Donotattempttoturntheunitwhileonthe
ramp,youmaylosecontrolanddriveofftheside.
Avoidsuddenaccelerationwhendrivinguparampand
suddendecelerationwhenbackingdownaramp.Both
maneuverscancausetheunittotipbackward.
