Important:Themachinemaybetippedbackwardor
onitssidetofacilitateaccessforcleaningorservice,
butnolongerthan2minutes.Ifthemachineisheldin
thispositionfortoolong,theenginecanbedamaged
bygasolinedrainingintothecrankcase.Shouldthis
happen,performanextraoilchangeontheengine.
Thenturntheengineoverafewrevolutionswiththe
starterhandlebeforestartingtheengineagain.

1.Cleanthegreasettingswitharag.
2.Connectagreaseguntoeachtting.
3.Lubricatetwottings,oneoneachcuttingwheel
bearing.
4.Pumpgreaseintothettingsuntilgreasebeginsto
oozeoutofthebearings(approximately3pumps).
5.Wipeupanyexcessgrease.
Important:Pumpgreaseinslowlyandcarefully
topreventdamagetothebearingseals.
