Thismachinecomesfromthefactoryreadytorecyclegrass
andleafclippingsbackintothelawn.Topreparethemachine
torecycle:
Iftheside-dischargechuteisonthemachine,removeit
andinstalltheside-dischargedeector;refertoRemoving
theSide-DischargeChute(page16).
Ifthegrassbagisonthemachine,removeit;referto
RemovingtheGrassBag(page15).
Iftherear-dischargeplugisnotinstalled,gripitbythe
handle,raisethereardeector,andinsertitintothe
rear-dischargechuteuntilthelatchlocksintoplace;refer
toFigure24.

Usethegrassbagwhenyouwanttocollectgrassandleaf
clippingsfromthelawn.
WARNING
Aworngrassbagcouldallowsmallstonesand
othersimilardebristobethrowntowardyouor
bystanders,resultinginseriouspersonalinjuryor
death.
Checkthegrassbagfrequently.Ifitisdamaged,
installanewTororeplacementbag.
Iftheside-dischargechuteisonthemachine,removeit
andinstalltheside-dischargedeectorbeforebaggingthe
clippings;refertoRemovingtheSide-DischargeChute(page
16).
WARNING
Thebladesaresharp;contactingthebladescan
resultinseriouspersonalinjury.
Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
