1.Connectthewiretothesparkplug(Figure10).
2.Openthefuelshutoffvalve(Figure19).
Note:Whenthefuelshutoffvalveisopen,theleveris
parallelwiththefuelline.

3.MovethethrottlecontroltotheChokeposition(Figure
12).
4.Pullthestarterhandlelightlyuntilyoufeelresistance,
thenpullitsharply.
5.MovethethrottlecontrollevertotheFastposition

1.MovethethrottlecontroltotheOffpositionandwait
forallmovingpartstostop.
2.Closethefuelshutoffvalveanddisconnectthewire
fromthesparkplugifyoudonotusethemachineor
leaveitunattended.

DriveandEngagingthe
CuttingBlades
Tooperatetheself-propeldrivewithoutengagingthe
blades,raisethecontrolbartothehandle(Figure20).

Note:Youcanvarythegroundspeedbyincreasingor

handle.Lowerthecontrolbartoreducethespeedwhenyou
makeaturnorifthemachineismovingtoofast.Ifyoulower
thecontrolbartoofar,themachinestopsself-propelling.
Squeezethecontrolbarclosertothehandletoincreasethe
groundspeed.Whenyouholdthecontrolbartightagainst
thehandle,themachineself-propelsatthemaximumground
speed.
