Installation

1.Stoptheengine,removethekeyandwaitforall

movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating

position.Allowthemachinetocooldown.

2.Disconnectthecheckvalvehosesfromthettingon

thecarboncanisterandtheengine(

Figure1).

3.Removethecabletiessecuringthehoseassemblyto

theharnessclipsontheblowerframe.Discardthe

hosesandthecheckvalve.

Note:Thereisnoneedtoremovetheharness

clipsfromtheframeunlesstheyaredamaged.New

harnessclipsareprovidedincasetheyaredamaged.

Replacing the Carbon Canister Purge-line Filter Note: The arrows on the check valve and filter should be pointing towards the engine. Replace the purge-line filter every 200 hours. Check the purge-line filter occasionally for dirt. If the filter appears to be dirty, replace it. 1.
