Hold the controller against the steering column so that the strap is approximately 1/4 inch from the foam on the steering column (Figure 18).

Installing the Rear Harness 6. Route the remainder of the rear wire harness forward, along the existing main vehicle harness. 1. Locate the existing anchor holes in the underside of the bed (Figure 24). 7. Locate the connector on the main vehicle harness labeled “BRAKE AND SIGNAL LIGHT KIT”. 2. Lay out the rear harness as shown in Figure 24. Note the longer length of the harness terminating in a flat, four pin connector for the tail lights should be routed to the left, rear tail light. 8.
