ServiceInterval:Every200hours(moreoftenin
dustyconditions).
Note:Changingtheairlterbeforeitisnecessary
onlyincreasesthechanceofdirtenteringtheengine
whenthelterisremoved.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
attachment,movethecontrolhandlestothe
neutral-lockedposition,engagetheparking
brake,shutofftheengine,andremovethekey.
2.Releasethelatchessecuringtheair-cleaner
covertotheair-cleanerbody(Figure42).

Gap:0.76mm(0.030inch)
Note:Thesparkplugsusuallylastalongtime;
however,youshouldcheckthemwhenevertheengine
malfunctions.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
attachment,movethecontrolhandlestothe
neutral-lockedposition,engagetheparking
brake,shutofftheengine,andremovethekey.
2.Cleantheareaaroundeachofthespark
plugssothatforeignmattercannotfallintothe
cylinderswhenyouremovethesparkplugs.
