Forpaddleengagedattachments,thisistheworking
positionwiththePTOengaged.Thispreventsthe
attachmentfromgoinglowerthanthisheightdueto
thePTOanglebeingtoosevereatlowerangles.
Forswitchengagedattachments,ensurethatthe
3-pointhitchisbetweenthemaximumandminimum
workpositionstoengagethePTO.Onceitisengaged,
thisistheminimumheighttheattachmentisallowed
tobeengaged.
Setthisto0,tohavetheattachmentworkintheoat
position.
Therangeis0to3pointmaxworkpositionin
incrementsof1.IfthePTOisoff,loweringthe
attachmentbelowthispositionispossible.Youcannot
engagethePTObelowtheminimumworkposition.
Settingthispositionpreventsdamagingthe
attachmentsthatdependontheheightofftheground.
Anexampleisadebrisblower.
DropSpeed
Thiscontrolsthe3-pointlowerrate.Itisadjustable
from10to100%in10%increments.
Thishelpspreventdamagetoturfwhendroppingthe
attachmentintotheturf.
Note:Thespeedisrelativelyconsistentregardless
oftheattachmentweightortheenginerpm.
Useafasterdropspeedonlywhenaquickresponseis
requiredandtheturfisnotdamagedbythedropping
oftheattachment.
RaiseSpeed
Thiscontrolsthe3-pointraiserate.Itisadjustable
from10to100%in10%increments.
Note:Thespeedisaffectedbytheenginerpm.A
slowerenginespeedresultsinslowerraisespeeds.
ApplicationPowerSourceSpeed
•PTOPOWER—thisisthePTOshaftspeedwhen
theattachmentisintheworkposition.Theengine
speedadjuststomeetthisspeed.Itisadjustable
from220to540rpmin5rpmincrements.
•HYDRAULICPOWER—thisistheenginespeedwhen
theattachmentuseshydraulicsandisinthework
position.Theenginespeedwillmodifytomeetthis
speed.Enginespeedisadjustablefrom1200to
3000rpmin100rpmincrements.
Note:Theminimumenginespeedisaffectedby
theairconditioning,automaticDPFcleaning,or
thehydraulicoiltempreature.
LiftedPowerSourceSpeed
Thisonlyappliestopaddleengagedattachments.
•PTOpower—thisisthePTOshaftspeedwhen
theattachmentisintheturnaroundposition.The
enginespeedwillmodifytomeetthisspeed.
Itisadjustablefrom220to540rpmin5rpm
increments.
•Hydraulicpower—thisistheenginespeedwhen
theattachmentuseshydraulicsandisinthe
turn-aroundposition.Theenginespeedwillmodify
tomeetthisspeed.Enginespeedisadjustable
from1,200to3,000rpmin100rpmincrements.
PTOEngagementRate
ThiscontrolsthespeedatwhichthePTOreachesits
programmedspeed.
Thetypesofresponseareasfollows:
•STANDARD—thePTOengagesrightawayandthe
enginerampsuptotheapplication-powersource
speed.
•MEDIUM—whenthePTOinputisengaged,the
engineRPMreducesanddwellsashorttime,
beforerampinguptotheapplication-powersource
speed.Thisisusedforbeltdrivenattachments
withheavystartinginertia.Anexampleofthis
wouldbeadebrisblower.
•LOW—whenthePTOinputisengaged,theengine
RPMdropsanddwellsalongtime,beforeramping
upveryslowlytotheapplication-powersource
speed.Thisresponseisrarelyused.
DelayLowerTime
Note:Thisparameteronlyappliestothe
paddle-engagedattachments.
Thisistheamountoftime,inseconds,the3-point
dwellsbeforeloweringtotheworkposition.This
allowsthePTOtoreachfullspeedbeforethe
attachmentengagestheground.Itisadjustablefrom
0to25secondsin0.1secondincrements.
Usethisforattachmentslikea3-pointrotarymower
oradeeptineaerator,thatrequiretimetogettofull
speed.
DelayTurnaroundTime
Thisistheamountoftime,inseconds,thePTO
remainsrunningoncethe3-pointhitchreachesthe
3-pointmaxworkpositionorturnaroundposition.
Thisallowsunstableattachmentstobrieyrunout
ofthegroundtoavoidhazardsorirrigationheads.If
theattachmentisallowedtoremainrunninginturn
around,itisadjustablefrom0to25secondsin0.1
increments.
