Themodeswitch(Figure31)isusedtocontrol
thefunctionofthehandthrottleforthefollowing
operations:
•LimitGround-speedModeposition—Usethis
switchpositiontolimitthemaximumtravelspeed
ofthemachinewhileperformingmachine-based
operations.
•Offposition—Usethisswitchpositionfornormal
controlofthemachinesgroundspeed.
•AccessoryModeposition—Usethisswitch
positiontocontroltheenginespeedwhenthe
machineisusedtopoweraccessoryequipment
inastationaryposition.
Operation
UsingtheLimit
Ground-SpeedMode
Settingthemaximumenginespeed
1.Movethemachinetoaclearlevelsurface.
2.MovethehandthrottletotheSlowposition
(Figure31).
3.Pressthemodeswitchuptothelimit
ground-speedposition(Figure31).
4.Movethegearselectortothegearforthe
desiredgroundspeed.
5.Fullypressdownthethrottlepedal.
6.Movethehandthrottletowardthefastposition
(Figure31)untilthedesiredgroundspeedis
reached.
7.Releasethethrottlepedal.
8.Performthegroundspeed-limitedtask,suchas
applyingtopdressingmaterial.
Note:T odrivethemachineatthemaximum
groundspeedlimitthatyouset,fullypressdown
onthethrottlepedal.
UsingtheNormal
Ground-SpeedMode
1.Movethemachinetoaclearlevelsurface.
2.MovethehandthrottletotheSlowposition
(Figure31).
3.PressthemodeswitchuptotheOffposition
(Figure31).
4.Operatethemachineasinstructedinthe
Owner’sManual.
UsingtheAccessoryMode
1.Movethemachinetotheworksite.
2.EnsurethatthegearselectorisintheNEUTRAL
positionandtheparkingbrakeisset.
3.Pressthemodeswitchdowntothethrottle-lock
position(Figure31).
4.Movethehandthrottletothedesiredengine
speed(Figure31).
5.Performtheaccessorybasedtask,suchasusing
thetankmixingorhandsprayeroperations.
6.MovethehandthrottletotheSLOWposition
(Figure31).
7.PressthemodeswitchuptotheOFFposition
(Figure31).
