ConnectingtheWiring
1.Connectthepinkwirefromtheheaterwire
harnesstoanopenleadonthefuseblock.
Ifthereisnotanopenfuseslot,installanew
fuseblock.Installthefuseintheopenslot
correspondingtothepowerleadyouuse.
2.Connecttheblackwirefromtheheaterwire
harnesstothegroundblock.
FinishingandCheckingthe
Installation
1.Tieallthehosesandwiresawayfromsharp
edgesandmovingparts.
2.Installthepreviouslyremovedhydraulicshield
overthehoses.Installthebatterycableand
batterycover.
3.Removetheradiatorcapandlltheradiatorwith
coolant;refertotheOperator’sManual.
4.Removethecaponthewhiteteenearthe
heaterassemblyandllwithcoolant.Installthe
cap.Installthehood.
5.Removetheradiatorcap.
6.Starttheengineandopenthebleedscrewon
thethermostatcoveruntilasteadystreamof
coolantcomesout.
7.Closethebleedscrew.
8.Shutofftheengine.
9.Topofftheradiatorandinstallthecap.
10.Afterrunningtheengineuptofulltemperature
andlettingitcooldown,checkthecoolantlevel
againandllit,ifneeded.
FortheMDX-DVehicle
PreparingtheMachine
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Raisethebedandengagetheproprod.
5.Removethebatterycoverandthepositive
batterycable.
6.Drainthecoolant;refertotheOperator’s
Manual.
7.Openthehood.

1.Attachtheelbowhosetothebottomttingofthe
heaterassemblywithahoseclamp(Figure19).
