removed.

3.Installthegreasettingtothehubassembly,pointing
itawayfromthehub.
4.Inserttheangettesandbearingontotheendofthe
motorshaftasshownin
Figure2.
5.Mountthe2ttings(45-degree)tothesideofthe
motorassembly.
Note:EnsurethatallO-ringsarelubricatedandin
positionbeforeinstallingthettings.
6.Positionthemotorhub,angetteswithbearing,
adapterplate,andtireassemblyintothecasterfork.
Note:Ensurethatthemotorisorientedwith
thehydraulicttingstotherearofthemachine
(
Figure2).
7.Looselysecurethemotortotheinsideofthecaster
forkwith2socket-headscrewsand2locknuts
(
Figure2).
Note:Tightenthescrewsto100ft-lbs(135N-m).
8.Looselyassembletheangettes(withthebearingto
theinsideofthecasterfork)with3hex-headbolts
(3/8x2-1/4inches),anadapterbearingplate,a
spacermount,3hardenedwashers,and3locknuts
(3/8inch).
Important:Ensurethatthereisnoradialload
onthemotorshaft.
Note:Thegreasettingmustbeinthedownward
positionontheangette(Figure2).
9.Torquetheangettescrewsto40ft-lb(55N-m).
Important:Failingtocarefullyfollowtheabove
assemblysequencemayresultinpremature
motorsealandbearingfailure.
10.Applyathread-lockingadhesive(suchasLoctite®)
tobearingsetscrews.
Note:Torquethesetscrewsto80to100in-lb(9
to11N-m).
11.Verifyoverrunningbearingoperation:Thetire
shouldrollfreelyforward,butthewheelmotorwill
engagewhenthetireisrolledbackward.
12.Lowertherearofthetractionunittotheground.
13.GreaseallthettingswithNo.2generalpurpose
lithium-basedgrease.
14.Applya3-wheel-drivedecaltoeachsideofthecaster
fork(
Figure2).

1.Drainallthehydraulicoilfromthereservoirby
removingtheupperhosefromthepump(Figure3).
