adapterplateandtireassemblyintocastorfork.
Ensurethatportsonmotorfacerearward(

7.Looselysecuremotortotheinsideofcasterfork
with(2)socket-headscrewsand(2)nuts(Figure2).
8.Tightenmotorscrewsto100ft-lbs(135N-m).
9.Looselyassembleangetteswithbearingtoinsideof
castorforkwith(3)new3/8x2inchscrews,adapter
plate,spacermount,(3)13/32x13/16hardened
washersand(3)3/8inchlocknuts.
Important:Makesurenoradialloadisputon
themotorshaft.
Note:Thegreasettingmustbeinthedownward
positionontheangette(
Figure2).
10.Tightentheangettescrewsto40ft-lbs(55N-m).
Note:Failuretocarefullyfollowtheaboveassembly
sequencemayresultinprematuremotorsealand
bearingfailure.
11.Applyathread-lockingadhesive(suchasLoctite
®
)
tobearingsetscrewsandtorqueto80to100in-lb
(9to11N-m).
12.Verifyoverrunningbearingoperation:Thetire
shouldrollfreelyforward,butengagewheelmotor
whenrolledbackward.
13.Lowerrearoftractionunittoground.
14.GreaseallttingswithNo.2generalpurpose
lithium-basedgrease.
15.Applyadecaltoeachsideofcasterfork(
Figure2).
InstallingHydraulic
Components
1.Disconnectthenegativecableandthenpositive
cablefrombattery.
2.Drainallhydraulicoilfromreservoirbyremoving
theupperhosefrompump(Figure4).Re–connect
hoseafterinstallinghydraulichardline.
Note:Thehydraulicsystemcapacityis
approximately8.5gallons(33liters).
Important:Takecarenottocontaminateoilif
youaregoingtoreuseit.Averysmallamount
ofdirtordebriscanseverelydamagehydraulic
system.
3.Disconnectthehosefromthe90degreettingatthe
L1Bportonthehydraulicmanifold(
Figure3).Note
angleatwhichttingisdirected.
