InstallingtheCuttingUnits
RepositiontheTurfCompensation
SpringsandInstalltheHoseGuides
1.Allthecuttingunitsareshippedwiththeturf
compensationspringmountedtotherightsideof
thecuttingunit.Theturfcompensationspring
mustbemountedtothesamesideofthecutting
unitasthereeldrivemotor.Repositiontheturf
compensationasfollows:
A.Removethe2carriageboltsandnutssecuring
therodbrackettothecuttingunittabs(Figure1).

B.Removetheangenutsecuringthespringtube
capscrewtothecarrierframetab(Figure1)
Removetheassembly.
C.Mountthespringtubecapscrewtotheopposite

totheoutersideofthetabasshowninFigure2.
