ReplacingtheHydraulic
Filters
ServiceInterval:Every1,000hours—Ifyou
areusingtherecommended
hydraulicuid,replacethe
hydrauliclters.
Every800hours—Ifyouarenotusingthe
recommendedhydraulicuidorhaveever
lledthereservoirwithanalternativeuid,
replacethehydrauliclters.
Thehydraulicsystemisequippedwitha
service-intervalindicator(Figure100).Withthe
enginerunningatoperatingtemperature,viewthe
indicator,itshouldbeinthegreenzone.Whenthe
indicatorisintheredzone,changethehydraulic
lters.

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
cuttingunits,shutofftheengine,engagethe
parkingbrake,andremovethekey.

andplaceadrainpanunderthelter(Figure
101)and(Figure102).

hydraulicoil.
5.Ensurethatthelter-mountingareaisclean.

themountingsurface,thenrotateitanadditional

7.Repeattheprocedureontheotherlter.
8.Starttheengineandletitrunforabout2minutes
topurgeairfromthesystem.
9.Shutofftheengineandcheckforleaks.
